形態特徵

• Evergreen scandent shrubs, rooting freely from stems and branches, branches dark brown, pubescent.
• Leaves coriaceous, oblong-lanceolate, 6–15 cm long, 3–5 cm wide, acuminate or rarely acute at apex, rounded or obtuse at base, entire, with 3 main veins from base, primary lateral veins 6–11 pairs, prominent beneath, glabrous above, grayish, sparsely pilose below; petioles brown, scurfy or puberulent, 1.5–2.5 cm long; stipules membranaceous, glabrous, ovate-lanceolate, 0.4–0.6 cm long, fugaceous.
• Male and gall or feMale flowers mixed; Male flowers pedicellate, perianth lobes 3–4, stamens 2, sessile; gall flowers pedicellate or subessile, perianth lobes 4, linear, ovary smooth, oblique, the style lateral, short, stigma dilated and truncate; feMale flowers sessile or pedicellate, perianth lobes 4–5, linear, ovary smooth, ellipsoid or obovoid, style sublateral, slender, stigma acute.
• Receptacles small, dark brown, solitary or paired, axillary, globose or subglobose, 1–1.5 cm across, with golden brown hairs above, mucronate at tip; basal bracts 3, membranaceous, stout, pubescent; stalks less than 0.3 cm long or nearly sessile.

• 台灣 : From sea level to 2,700 m altitude.
• 世界 : S & C China.
